Cancellation & Refund Policy

CPHT Stockton on tees appreciates that unforeseen circumstances can result in a delegate needing to cancel their planned attendance of a course.  We therefore try to be flexible in our approach to each individual case. However, this can have an effect on our costs and resources, i.e. rooms, tutors. We therefore try to ensure that all parties are not disadvantaged through loss of earnings etc. Any issues regarding cancellations are resolved at the discretion of the Senior Lectures.

You may cancel the course booking within 14 calendar days of receiving your confirmation of acceptance on to a nominated course without giving any reason; you are entitled to a full refund of any deposit paid within the 14 day cancellation period. For clarity, the cancellation period will expire 14 days after the receipt of confirmation of acceptance onto a nominated course.

Cancellations following the expiry of the 14-day cancellation period, are not eligible for a refund but it may be possible to transfer the full deposit to a later CPHT Stockton on tees course or another CPHT course where appropriate.

To cancel a course booking, you must let us know, in writing, by email or letter sent by registered post. You must clearly state your intention to cancel the course. To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication to cancel before the 14 day cancellation period has expired.

We will reimburse any deposit you may have paid using the same means of payment that you used for the initial transaction. You will not incur any fees as a result of this reimbursement.

No refund will be made for non-attendance of any of the course modules once the course has commenced.

Cancellations by CPHT and changes to course content

CPHT Stockton on tees courses are constantly updated and while we endeavour to deliver the courses as advertised there may inevitably be occasions where we have to change content without prior notice or, in exceptional circumstances, to cancel the course.

In the case of a course cancellation, delegates will be offered a full refund of any monies paid to date. CPHT will not compensate for accommodation arrangements, time spent travelling or away from the home or place of work.*

*Occasionally circumstances will arise which result in the need to cancel, reschedule or postpone an event, due to an unforeseen occurrence or act of God. When this is the case CPHT shall assume no liability.
